I have been providing medicolegal reports since 1996 both for clinical negligence and personal injury.

My work is split fairly evenly between plaintiff and defendant and I have been trained as a single joint expert.

I regularly provide reports for most of the major personal injury firms in the UK.

As a physician in current practice I have day-to day experience of the levels of care required in the NHS and what is and what is not "reasonable practice".

I have also given both written and verbal evidence in coroner's and criminal cases and have experience of cross-examination by QCs.

Geriatric medicine including:

• medical negligence
• consequences of personal injury
• life expectancy

General medicine: 

• as practiced by general physicians seeing unselected patients over age 18

Stroke and Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA)

• diagnosis and treatment of stroke and TIA
• stroke prevention
• stroke rehabilitation
• management of other neurological conditions with similar symptoms

I can usually provide a report within six weeks of receiving a bundle.

I am able to visit patients in their homes in most of England and South Wales

My chargeable rate is £350 per hour. I charge full time for travel if a car is the best practical solution and half time plus costs for travel by public transport.

I am able to attend conferences both in person and by telephone.
